About Me
I’ve been in the counselling world now since 2008 when my training first began, though training did not stop once I qualified in 2013. There is always new knowledge to be gained and information to be gathered and I value this continuing professional development – it enables me to help and support you.
I am here to sit with you, listen to your life story and hold your pain and vulnerability. Sometimes our thoughts and feelings can overwhelm us to the point where it becomes difficult to cope with everyday life. It helps to talk through these times and I am here to support you. If you need a confidential space to talk, please contact me and we can arrange an appointment.

Alongside my private practice, I offer counselling at Chorley Women’s Centre, a charity dedicated to supporting women of all ages and circumstances. I’m the Counsellor for the Sefton Branch of the MS (Multiple Sclerosis) Society, helping individuals and families affected by MS. I am also the Counsellor in a family residential setting, offering support to parents undertaking a placement to assess their parenting needs.
I was involved with Lancashire Women’s Centre for many years and, as part of their counselling team, have provided counselling within NHS settings at Ormskirk Hospital and spent a year counselling at Minds Matter in St Helens.
My volunteering roles have included Marriage Care, a national charity specialising in adult couple relationships; Place2Be as a school counsellor supporting primary school children; and The Tasha Foundation, an online counselling service.
